Church Assembly Meeting
A General Assembly Meeting has been scheduled for Sunday, October 27, 2019 immediately following the Divine Liturgy in the Church Hall. It is requested that each of you plan to attend this important meeting. The Agenda will be as follows:
- Opening Prayer
- Selection of Parish Assembly Chairperson
- Approval of Minutes of the previous General Assembly Meeting
- Approval of Treasurer’s Report
- President’s Annual Report
- Nominations for Parish Council
- Election of Election Committee
- Election of Audit Committee
- Closing Prayer
In order to participate in the Parish General Assembly, parishioners must have met their financial obligations to the Parish for 2018 and be current for 2019. NEW DATE! 2019 Annual Golf Tournament
Join us at the Queenstown Harbor Golf Course (at 310 Links Lane, Queenstown, MD 21658) for a day of golf! Cost of registration is $150 per person and includes 18 holes of golf with cart, lunch, and much more. Registration starts at 7:30 am. Shotgun Start (Scramble Format) is at 9 am. Blessing of the Animals
Our Church will be hosting a Blessing of the Animals on Saturday, November 2nd, 2019. Please bring your pets to the Back Lawn outside the Banquet area starting at 9:00 am. The Blessing will begin at 9:30 am. by Father Kosmas. For more information, please call the church office at 410-573-2072.
Reception in Honor of Mrs. Helen Sfondouris

Sandwich Making Sponsors Needed
The next sandwich making is scheduled for Monday, August 5, 2019 at Ss. Constantine & Helen beginning at 6 pm. Anyone interested in helping make the sandwiches and bag lunches is welcome. Consider sponsoring a month - a great project for an individual, family or organization. If interested, please contact a Philoptochos member or Nick Shust.
Fall Greek Food Fest -

Join us on Friday or Saturday, November 15 or 16 from 11 am-9 pm. Our Fall Greek Food Festival, held at the Church, will celebrate Greek Food and Pastries. The Agia Anna Philoptochos Society is sponsoring “Kali Parea” (Good Company) which is a monthly gathering of fellowship and friendships for all active Senior Orthodox Christians of our community (55+) and for those with their caregivers. There will be Card Games, Bingo, Backgammon, Music, Crafts, Door Prizes and Lunch, being offered to this group at no expense. Sweet Bread Baking, 9 am
Members of the Agia Anna Philoptochos will be baking sweet bread for their Annual Holiday Bake Sale on Wednesday, November 20 at 9 am. If needed, they will continue baking on Thursday, November 21.

The Ladies Philoptochos “Agia Anna” will be sponsoring a Holiday Bake Sale again this year. You can order delicious Greek pastries and hors d’oeuvres to share with your Family and Friends for the Holidays! Annual Christmas Ball
On Saturday, December 7, from 6-10 pm, you can enjoy an evening of music, holiday fare, desserts, a cash bar, and a gingerbread contest. The event will feature the music of DJ Kostas. Community Advent Lenten Luncheon
& Toys for Tots Collection Presentation
Join the Agia Anna Philoptochos for a Community Advent Lenten Luncheon. U.S. Marines Representatives will also be there to collect the toys Toys for Tots gathered during the collection drive. All are welcome. Please bring a Lenten dish to share.
