Ladies Philoptochos Scholarships Awarded
The Community of Ss. Constantine and Helen, would like to congratulate the following students, who have met all the requirements in receiving The Ladies Philoptochos Scholarship. The students are: James Diamondidis, Teddy Douglas, Madeleine O’Connell and Michael Sirinakis. We also, want to thank all of our parishioners, who were able to contribute to The Ladies Scholarship Fund. Our appreciation goes also to the Philoptochos Scholarship Chairwoman, Mrs. Estelle Damoulakis, and to her committee for organizing it, and for making sure that the applicants had followed all the necessary requirements.
Catechism Church School Staff
We want to take this opportunity today to thank our entire Catechism Church School staff for their commitment in teaching our children the Orthodox faith. More importantly we thank the Catechism Church School Director, Mr. Dennis Argerson and all the Catechism Church School teachers for their endless hours of volunteer service to our Catechism Church School Department. Best wishes for a wonderful and safe summer to all of our Catechism Church School teachers and students.
Annapolis Greek Festival - Advertising
Save the date for the 2018 Annapolis Greek Festival! This year’s event will be held Thursday through Sunday, May 31-June 3, 2018, at the Church. The success of this year’s Greek Festival will depend on all of us. We need volunteers and the support of our parishioners and of our friends. At this event we are offering sponsorship opportunities for businesses, organizations and individuals. Also, this year we have something new. You can have Personal Messages, Best Wishes and Memorials. All advertising material should be the original logo artwork: send.eps,.ai,.pdf,.tif (Only if necessary in .jpg.) Photos should be sending in High Resolution accurately sized and camera ready for print in the Souvenir Program/Menu. Annapolis Greek Festival - Volunteers Needed
By now you have received the Volunteer Form, please show your support again this year and lend a helping hand to make the Annual Greek Festival a great success. If you are unable to donate your time, please consider a donation to defer our costs of paid labor for cleaning and security. For every $10 that you donate equals one hour of paid labor for cleaning. For every $25 that you donate equals one hour for Security Guard. If you have received the Volunteer Form, please return it to the Church Office. On Sunday, May 20th, 2018, we will celebrate a special “Grandparents Sunday”. All Catechism Church School children and Greek School are asked to invite their Grandparents to Church and receive Holy Communion with them.
A Great Vespers Service will be celebrated in honor of our Church’s Name Day, Ss. Constantine and Helen, on Sunday, May 20th, at 6:30 pm, with Artoklasia, and a reception by The Ladies Philoptochos “Agia Anna”. On Monday, May 21st, there will be Orthros at 9 am with Divine Liturgy at 10 am, The Feast day of Ss. Constantine and Helen and the Name Day of our church.
On Monday, May 28th, Fr. Kosmas will be at the St. Demetrios Cemetery at 9 am and there he will read a Memorial prayer for your loved ones.

Schedule change for services
Sunday, June 3, because of the Greek Festival there will be a change of time for Orthros and Divine Liturgy. Orthros will begin at 8 am and Divine Liturgy at 9 am. Also, on Sunday, June 4, there will be no Coffee Hour; however, you can enjoy your coffee with your family and friends at the Greek Festival.
Greek School Graduation
The Greek School Graduation will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at 6 pm. The children will present the end of the year program with poems, songs and hymns.
